About Us
The Termez (Termiz) Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy trains medical professionals that meet modern requirements and develop advanced technologies in MBBS/Medicine.
The main objective of our Academy is to produce doctors of MBBS/Medicine prepared to serve the fundamental purposes of MBBS/Medicine. Our graduates must have the qualities necessary to develop medical practices and use modern equipment and treatment methods to straighten the health of society. The branch has 4 faculties and more than 20 departments, 9 of which are clinical departments used for advanced training.

Being a student of Termez Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy was one of the best experiences of my life! I was able to engage in fulfilling medical research activities surrounded by fantastic experimenters and scientists in an outstanding study environment. I was taught how to set clear goals and reach them. Now I’m able to develop my knowledge independently.
The best thing about studying MBBS/Medicine at the Termez Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy is its friendly and supportive community of students and professors. I was able to make many friends from India, China, Japan, Italy, and many other countries. I was communicating a lot, participated in lots of extracurricular activities, and enjoyed the Uzbekistan student lifestyle.
I love everything about my faculty and university. As a student of the department of surgery, I am satisfied with the quality of teachers and teaching, the level of research, the expertise of lecturers, and the teachers’ competence in academic English. The eco-friendly attitude of the university is also very important for me because I use only natural products to ensure safety from all dangerous chemicals.
When I arrived I felt a bit overwhelmed with the use of the language but after two weeks I felt quite comfortable talking in English. I had to adapt to a new academic environment for course selection, communication with teachers, understanding lectures, but everything was fun and easy because everyone around me aimed to help and answer any question I had.
The staff of the International Student Office is always willing to support international students in academic and non-academic matters. The process of adapting to a new country may be challenging but due to the open-minded and multicultural community of students from all over the world, you feel confident and safe. As an overseas student, I was able to make networks to facilitate the adaptation.
My Termez Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy alma mater was especially helpful to my job search and career management long after I had graduated. The University maintains a separate contact database of alumni from the social platforms for students to expand the network of job leads. There are also a lot of job search and leadership lectures for future graduates.
